Seamless Delivery into the U.S. Market with InterDirect’s 2025 DDP Postal Solution

We’re pleased to announce the launch of our new DDP postal service for shipments to the United States.
For those currently paying courier rates since the removal of the de minimis threshold – or placing orders on hold – this new option offers a welcome alternative. While it’s a slightly slower delivery method, it’s significantly more cost-effective than traditional courier services.

Below, you’ll find details of our rate card, along with service restrictions and terms. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to learn more or activate this service for your account.

Rates ex InterDirect Premises

All rates exclude VAT and DUTY charges, which will be prepaid on your behalf and are non-negotiable.
A prepayment bond may be required. VAT/DUTY payment terms are 7 days and will be billed with a 3.95% handling and currency adjustment fee.

Delivery Aims

USA: 5–9 Working Days

Delivery times are calculated from the day of dispatch from our facility. Please note that local holidays, peak seasons, postal strikes, customs processes, or unforeseen events may affect transit times. Misroutes and network delays are also excluded from the delivery aims.

1 Rates valid until December 31st  2025.
2 Prices in GBP
3 Rates ex InterSend facility
4 Weight band in Kg
5 Clearance is either handled by an external broker or by the in-house customs clearance team (LTS).
6 Rates for USA based on consignment value of less than 100 USD. Any additional fees for delivery above these values will be passed back.
7 Shipments to China, South Korea and Japan have extra customs requirements that must be completed before shipping. Please reach out to your account manager for more information before using this service.
8 It is the clients responsibility to ensure all data provided is accurate. Charges related to incorrect data will be passed back.
9 Any additional clearance fees or disbursements will be passed back e.g. inspection, unexpected formal clearance.
10 Fuel surcharge included.  Peak surcharges will passed on .
11 We reserve the right to change the rates at any time to reflect cost or FX changes.
12 Maximum US PARCEL dimensions – see details at the bottom of the rate card. We reserve the right to pass back any oversized surcharges arising from parcels above these dimensions.
13 Rolls Dimensions  length < 1.5 meters and diameter < 0.4 meters
14 Compensation will be passed on at our carriers terms and may be paid up to a maximum of 100 gbp.
15 Excludes VAT/DUTY charges which will pre-paid on your behalf and non negotiable.  VAT/DUTY  will be billed on with a 3.95% handling/currency adjustment fee.
16 Undeliverable parcels are charged at outbound the price + £1.50 hub handling.  Returns will come back to our Uxbridge facility.  Returns carriage from hub to client is not included. Exceptional sortation may incur an additional handling surcharge of £1/item
